At this point get it and tell us how it goes. I'm tired of telling people that you get what you pay for. Ebay crap is just that CRAP. SEARCH!!!

They work great especially with huge turbos because they flow so well. Get it and report those dyno numbers man!

I havent used one personally, but my boy who lives in my neighborhood (stock ls/vtec turbo) has had one. His wastegate flange, #1 runner & #3 runner cracked in three weeks of use. He has a Spoolin Performance ramhorn now.

He doesnt have an account on here, but I can get some pics & post em up if he hasnt thrown it away.

cast iron only if your gonna ebay it, once you see one of the ebay tubular manifolds in person you can just invision all the little 7 year old kids in china welding it together with a flux core wire feed welder. lol

my friend had a turbo dc4 and purchased a ram horn header from ebay. he was only putting out 8 pounds of boost. the header lasted about half a year i think...yeh about 7 months. and it eventually cracked. i mean after all it is a header from ebay and is a replicated design. no R&D goes into these parts so u cant expect much from them especially at the price they sell for.

I was given an Ebay turbo kit with the same exact manifold. The "brace" thats welded to the wastegate flange is the top of the massive hole it started creating. Its very thin and I would not spend the money for a new one. Upgraded my kit fully minus the IC and am much happier. Full-race.com FTW

Also it started cracking about 2 months into riding it (riding it every other week at 15psi on the ebay turbo). After it starts cracking, you can't even reach boost...it gets quite depressing...so save your money and get something nicer. Well worth it

The brace right there on the front had cracked, so My friend had to Re-Weld the manifold there. I got this to run on my turbo set up i'm doing until I can get a Nice better one.. I would say if your having to go cheap, they have some nice top mount cast irons on ebay for about $270.00 or you could just get a cast log.. but I wouldn't recommend the Ram Horn from them..

Thanks for the pic. From what I'm seeing by searching they all seem to crack at the wastegate. Definately an area to reinforce or even weld on thicker tubing to support the wastegate.

well, just by looking at the beads at every joint, the welds were just horrible, definately not TIG welded like stainless tubing should be, but flux core wire fed(like someone mentioned already) by someone with little skill. Not to mention they use lower quality stainless steel too. If you could weld, you could lightly grind all the beads and tig a nice wide bead over all the seams...but i'd just save a lil more cash and get something nicer. just my thought.

or just spend the money once on a professionally made stainless tubular manifold that will make more power, and last as long or longer than a cast manifold.
