I'm pretty sure you could get it fine tuned a bit better if you had one, though. An intercooler's efficiency changes with the weather, and an IAT sensor helps compensate for this.

On the original question, I'd see if you could measure the pressure drop across the intercooler. A bad intercooler can only suck in three ways - leaking, creating too much of a pressure drop, and not cooling enough. It is pretty straightforward to test for all of these and see if the intercooler is holding you back.

I dont really understand whats wrong with my turbo...Its rated for 500whp, which i know isnt exact but im not sure...ill get pics of the turbo up im just going by what the dude told me but its a big turbo

I'm still on stock sleeves thats why im not jumping on a new turbo. I would like 400whp which i know that turbo will do. I'm mostley going for times at the track last nite i went 11.65@124 full interior da 2500lbs with me in it

2550lbs exact with me in it full interior da. Ls trans 22in mt slicks. on 13in lensos.
