I keep seeing these FMIC on ebay for like 200 bucks. What I wanna know is has anyone had an experience with these??? Looks like they might not be to bad but I need a H-Ter's word first lol.....

For small setups there not bad at all.

 

there ok but for 200 ill sell you a nice FMIC

What kind ?

The one on ebay go for about $100 now.

 

i honestly dont know the brand ...but its a really really nice core...it had to cost a pretty penny....It came with the car....heres some pics

 

100 now? damn it gets cheaper by the quality...i mean by the year. lol i'm running a ssac one. works fine....i think...

 

Its pretty big...3 inches thick...i dont ahve exact measurements until i take the car apart but the motor blew so everything has to come out

The quality seems ok, I know they don't have turbolators (sp) but for a small hp setup its fine.

 

are you trying to sell it? If so get the measurements and I might be intrested

 

Its possible...Then again a FMIC is a FMIC ...they pretty much all look the same....but for 100 id rather keep it....i ran 20 plus psi and it never heat soaked..cooled great

 

Plus ive worked on cars with ebay front mounts some of them are complete trash

Not hardly... you have to take into consideration the material quality, quality of the welds, flowing capabilities, etc...

 

Idk ill take it out of the car tomorrow and see what it is

Ooo i no that...i said they all pretty much look the same...like if your looking at a pic thats not super close up....unless you have one that says spearco across the front..lol then that looks different

Curious to know what kind of pressure drop these have compared to a precision bar and plate.

 

the one pictured above says less than a 10% pressure drop....

 

my buddy runs that one and is making over 500 whp i didnt like it either but it works
