Re: Easy question (aaronISthrowed)
I think you'll need 6 either way, but the # of what sizes you'll need depends on the outlet size of your turbo, throttle body, and the pipes on the intercooler.
Let's say you have a 2" outlet on the turbo, 2.5" throttle body, and 2.5" in/out on the intercooler. I think you'd need:
two 2", one for the for the turbo - charge pipe, another to join the 2nd hot pipe
one 2->2.5" transition for the charge pipe - intercooler
three 2.5" couplers, one for the other side of the ic, 1 more to join the other pipes together, and the final one for the throttle body.
If it's hard to visualize, draw the charge pipe setup out on a piece of paper, it'll help.
By the way, I don't know if you really want the polished finish, but if you don't mind doing a little of the work yourself I suggest you look here http://store.racing-solutions.org/ or jcwhitney.com for the charge pipes, you can get away much cheaper. Also, some radiatior or fuel filler hose is a much less expensive alternative to silicone couplers, or roadraceengineering.com sells silicone hose pretty cheap by the foot in their DIY section. Good luck
