eagle rods
I need a set of rods to finish my engine. I always thought that egales were compared to the econc billet rods from crower, strength wise. how much boost are eagles proven to handle. should I just go with crower?
http://www.GroupBuyCenter.com usually has them on there. I don't know if they still do however.

Made in China, dist. under many names!!!!!
For example,
One hot dog, 27 different name brands, 300,000 pounds per DAY!!!!!!!!
Only thing different was the package film.

yep china made, but its a smart marketing move on crower's part because it makes the eagles look pretty poor to most unknowing enthusiasts when compared to the standard crower rods.
I know of someone who has broken 3 crowers and never an eagle. I personally use eagle simply becuase they are cheaper, still 4340 and now that they use ARP hardware are very good quality rods, china made or not. Also they balance out within .1 gram among 12, not bad QC.

Eagle only makes the H beam's as far as I know...
H beams are usually the better design structure for lateral loads such as boost.
I beams however are better designed for Horizontal loads such as High RPM motors
This is not to say that I beam is not good for boost, and H beam is not good for high rev's, but It's just the overall design behind them.

ok now here's a question. my motor should be back from KG engineering anyday, its a fully built head an a darton open deck sleeved block. now u say h beam is good for boost an i beam is good for high rpm. what if my engine will red line at like 9,500 will the eagles be able to withstand that on 19 psi? i know verin has some knowledge in this field....
