i was wondering at what whp do eagle rods start losing reliability with a good tune, and at what rpm are they safe to take to?im deciding between eagle or pauter rods but i can get 2 sets of eagle rods for the price of one set of pauters, damn.

eagles are great, i make 515whp on them. I know a guy right now making 640whp on them. They are just as good as all of the others in my serious opinion.

I had so called "beagles" in my setup for about 8 months daily beaten but taken care of and put down 339 heat soaked. I love eagles excellent price, definetly worth the money and its all about the installation.

I made 604whp on Eagles been that way for just about a year now. If I could go back and change one thing in my setup i'd throw in Crower's or Carillo's. Other than that never had any issues.

ive had my 500 plus for 6 months and had 400+ for about 3 or 4 months before that, and this is a daily driven, beat the **** out of, hauled to the track for events all the time car. all these people are saying they are going to switch for a false piece of mind.

You should be fine with an Eagle. If you ask Eagle customer service, they will tell you they are good for 900hp, haha, yeah right.

We had eagle tell us the B series were good to 1000hp , had customers a rod bolt(weak bolt, really it was a bad bolt) break at 34 lbs and 10K rpms. If you want more than 500hp spend the money on the pauters

My car hit 32 or 34psi on the dyno when the boost spiked. But then again didn't get to see 10k

We didn't plan on taking the car that high, damn thing just kept on making power. I wanted to stop at 9K and 28 lbs. Its the customers car not mine. it'll be fixed and then maybe i can show some dyno sheets :0

For 90% of the people on this board, Eagles are pretty much indestructible. A bolt will fail before the rod will fold. (provided the tune is good)

I have seen them take almost 700 whp.

Eagle rods

We have hundreds of customers running them. No complaints. The rods currently come with ARP 2000 3/8" rod bolts.
