Default eagle honda stroker kits????

i was reading in the back of a Turbo magazine and saw an add for a complete stroker kit. I has the crank, rods, pistons, and rings for 1950$$. this sounds like a real good price, am i wrong in assuming this? is there someting else you would recomend, is eagle a recomended manufacturer for this stuff???

the late Tim Hill had that in his GSR. His engine pulled really well. Made 192whp,146tq with a vafc "tune" and pulling verygod at factory redline.

but, the setup is just a cleaned factory crank and then the eagle rods and pistons. I really wouldn't see the point in this for a turbo car. i mean, if you are at the point where you are going t work on storke to make more power....just turn up the boost.

The crank is actually a forged 4340 steel crankshaft.

Many displacements and compression ratios are available.

ummm...Eagle uses the crank out of the b21a....it's a factory honda part, i helped put it together.

the lighted crank is the same crank with some changing of the counterweights.

that's why it's so damned cheap

ummmm....
NO!
I am in charge of the import division at Eagle, and it is our own 4340 chromoly steel forging. It is also nitrided and micropolished.
They never started life as a Honda part.
They are "so damned cheap" because we manufacture them - not custom make them like every one else.

I don't know what you put together, but it aparently wasn't our crankshaft.

You are thinking about the Crower stroker kit, they have a stock B21A option which is cheap then they have the Billet crank which is like $2k more.

the crank i helped put in was a Honda piece. He had bought it from someone selling him an Eagle Stroker kit.

i mean, it was a decent setup, but it was a honda crank.

Someone sold him some parts, and called it an Eagle stroker kit, then. Eagle built all their own crankshafts for the kits, unless you were actually holding an Eagle crank, and just didn't know it.
