Default Eagle H-beam

hi i am about to put my pistons on them again, dos it matter hot the piston turn on it?

Yes. The little tab on the connecting rod that the bearing sits in goes on the exhaust side of the motor. So make sure your piston has the exhaust valve cut outs on the same side as the little tab for the bearing.

When one buys those Eagle rods does one have to take the engine/crank to a machine shop for clearances?

How much did you pay for your Eagle rods?

No. the crank does not have to be clearanced.

They typically sell for $350, but can be purchased at time on ebay for around $300. Best bang for the buck.

There seem to be more than one vendor right here on Honda-Tech that are selling them for less than $300 shipped. And that is with over 50 bux worth of ARP 2000 rod bolts in them. Crazy!
