I use an AFC for my 440's, works for me, but I understand the E-Manage will do a better job of it.. just my .02

From my understanding, it can adjust up to 20+- ? S-AFc can be adjusted to 50+-

The E-manages basic features allow you to adjust +/- 20%, but you can have more adjustability with the software and harnesses.

someone said that the e-manage without the software is just like a VAFC, and with the software it is like a full standalone. Too bad Greddy only sells the software to authorized dealers and tuners.

Eventually someone will have a copy of it , right? hehe.

Do you know if the e-manage adjusts air/fuel depending on boost/load conditions? Because with the S-AFC, it can't read boost/load so its not a very efficient method to "tune" a car.

If you click the link above and go to "e-function 4" and scroll down on the bottom part on the screen it'll tell you about the E-manages adjustability.

Map has a total display of 256 points (16 points of rotation axis X 16 points of axial load)
what they're saying is 16 RPM points and 16 boost points.

also a good site to go to would be http://www.dsmtalk.com altough some of them are just quoting info out f the same site I linked to. hopefully someone will get it installed and give a review.

no I dont think you use a RR FMU, it should be just like a standalone. you would probably still need a larger than stock fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator, and obviously larger injectors.

With the software you just input the original injector size and the new injector size.

Disclaimer: all this is from memory so you may want to get a second opinion or check my answers with someone else.

So the E-manage uses the stock MAP sensor to read in load? or does it have its own sensor?
