Default E-Cutout's in winter time

I'm looking for a quality E-Cutout and I was thinking about getting a DMH one. My concern is that it's winter here and I was wondering if anyone runs a cutout in winter. Does the snow/ice and grime mess up the electronics for the flap?

I'd imagine if it could withstand exhaust heat then it can take cold temperatures. Plus the heat should melt any ice formation or anything.

Mines been fine... just let the engine warm up the exhaust before operating it.

No I wouldnt think it would matter cause the electronics are sealed and they carry a warranty!

shouldn't have a problem with it freezing or anything. I've heard good things about the DMH, i'd stay away from the quicktime performance one, i had that and the motor gave out after a few months.

i had 2 dmh performance ones fail on me. If you are going to run one, put the cutout as far down the exhaust as possible. excess heat will own them.
