How were you running 16psi without a 3bar?

Why don't they just equip the hondata with a 2 bar map to begin with? That would be enough for almost everyone that would be using a hondata box....I mean...that's like 30psi. Who knows anyone boosting over 30 pounds running hondata???

MAP sensors are rated in absolute pressure...it would take a 3 bar sensor to get you to 30ish psi.

300bones - I meant to commend you on your numbers. I'm looking for slightly less out of my setup, as I'm limited to only 11ish psi due to the OEM MAP sensor.

Nice numbers.. but how the hell are you logging 14.7psi when the stock map sensor only reads through 11.x?

that sounds like my exact setup except for the turbo, and a built bottom end. Even tuned by the same guy. Good numbers though. Unfortunately I decided to go LSVTEC now, so no more straight ls for me

ya I went with the blox intake manifold to try and help the upper end and it helped a lil bit, but nothing huge. Still dropped off with my sc52. If you are interested Ill sell it to ya What rpms are you hitting full boost at? Love to come check out your ride too.

You can do it on the stock sensor, it will just read the values for as high as it can read which, as I know you know.. is like 11-12 psi. So you can boost over the stock sensor however far you like, but it won't be too pretty b/c you will be rich as hell in the last collumn, even for lower rpms.

how can you get the stock sensor to log over 11.x? You can run more boost and just tune the last column rich, but how did you get the map to show anything over that?

i hit full boost at 4500,witch sucks cus i have to shift at 7200.plus i have a jdm type r trany,so on the street, all i do is spin.and ya the power drops off pretty bad after about,6900.its running 11to1 a/f till about 6800,then it goes 10.7/1,he also took out timing,at the same point,to make it safe.
