not sure how thick it is..maybe like 1.5mm or something like that can't remember, but when i bought it they only made them for the z6 not the y8's so i had to knotch the block a lil for the lil pins to fit that hold the gasket together, i would have never expected that much power.. i am hoping to get a 3 bar and go for like 13 or 14psi and shoot for 300.. but don't want to get my hopes up.. i am content with this

Why when y8 and z6 head gaskets are the same ?

253whp on 10psi on a D-series, as much as i wish that was true i seriously doubt it

the best i have seen on that low a boost is 200whp on a d15b7 with y8 head on 9psi and that was with 10.6:1 compression, and thats with a guy that is a genious with uberdata

im gonna have to throw out the B.S. flag on this one until i see some dyno sheets, sorry

I wouldn't throw out a BS flag that fast. If he is running something like an SC61 or something it would be easy to make that kind of power at 10psi. I want to know what turbo this was done with before I make any conclusions.

Ryan. He had to notch his block for a headgasket ? Kinda strange.

with that low of compression and that boost i figure it would take a turbo that size or bigger but we will see, i still wanto see a chart

It is kind of fishy. Sounds like he's talking about the dowel pins.

btw from my research its a t3/t4 and doesnt state the trim size this is assuming its a "b-series drag turbo"

Those numbers with that compression and boost level just don't add up. Oh how I wish it was true..

Is this a motor with stock internals?

... not sure if I believe it either... That's more hp out of 10psi than most d-series can get with 12...

Can't throw up the BS flag since what 'was' the standard is changing every day it seems, but that is definatley not the current norm..

ohh ok. You do that big guy. I've seen numbers close to this before. 2 people actually.

Damnit, give me a sec to remember their sn's. Red civic hatchback (262whp @ 12psi) and the other guy was running Hondata tuned by stoopid 250(10-12psipsi)

Also, you dont have to be a "genious" at uberdata to make good power. BBKA made 210 on 10psi

I believe ya. Nice numbers

FSUfan hasn't been around long enough to voice his opinion on that subject matter. Not sayin I have either.
