It reads almost 10% lower.
When we dynoed my car on the dyno jet it put down 648hp....
we then put it on the dyno dynamics and put down 606hp but it was also 1 more pound of boost.

they arent forgiving dyno's, ive loaded many cars on them my friend tunes cars(mainly rotarys).

blackwidowsi your numbers seem pretty close to what i would see in comparison of loss.

the numbers we used to see were worse bc of the weather station on ours was off a tad

i havent used that dyno in atleast 5months, but once we got a feel of the numbers cars put down with the dynamics it was over 18%

jus fyi when the weather station wasnt working propely we maxed out stock fuellines and only made 585hp on a b series so id say its not a dyno to give numbers out.

its a great dyno to tune esp partial throttle

Dyno dynamics = heart breaker dyno if you're looking for numbers.

haha we actually called ours the heartbreaker

dyno days were funny watching ricers n highschool kids talk big and make half what they claim it was "suposed to make" people even got angry a few times

dynos dont lie.

so if i laid down only 196whp on this dyno i should be actually looking at 220-250whp? on another dyno?

Why do people get their feelings hurt when a dyno like dyno dynamics or mustang dyno give them a "low" but REAL hp number??? HP number DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING. I mean ****, on my dyno dynamics I can make it read any HP you want....But it's not REAL and niether is a dynojet.

Dynojet produce high numbers because they were designed to put out what Dynojet's ex-owner thought some crappy 80's motorcycle was supposed to make, but didn't until they fudged the numbers. No other dyno manufacturer has done this, although several brands can be altered to read higher so you feel good about your car.

Arguing numbers and how much more/less you'd have on a different dyno is a waste of time when 95% of people can't drive 300 whp (on any dyno) down the track.

I'm in this boat for sure. I had my car dynod yesterday on a mustang and expected it to put down 250ish, first pull and it did 341hp and 253 tq i questioned the operator and he said that they had calibrated the dyno to make the numbers read like the dynojets. In other words i wasted 60 bucks to find out the numbers, but now i know it was a waste.

well i finally goy my car tune and it made 223.7 hp. I know that the dyno reads low and i can careless about BIG numbers but i was wondering about how much it really made. btw partial throttle is great and i should kick my self in the nuts, i should have my car tune along time ago.......................................
