you have to know a lot more than that to figure out the duty cycle and/or pulse width.

Now if you knew the pulse width, we could figure out the duty cycle

im just looking for an approximate value. I dont know if it would help you if i told you they were DSM 450s.

Basically im trying to formulate a solid basemap and my first attempt im getting about 80% duty cycle and im thinking that is a little low for that amount of boost at that rpm and such. But i wanted to make sure. Im not looking for value a definite answer. Just a thought, an approximate, a span. something.

Thanks

it totally depends on the motor, the turbo, the compression, basically you need to know the cfm at that point....

I'd say on a typical gsr motor, you'll probably see 90% duty cycle around 300 whp w/ 450's. It also depends on the volumetric efficiency of the motor as well..... lots of things come into play

okay, thanks. that helps kinda... I must not understand how duty cycle works total. I guess its time to read up and become more informed.

Basically my understanding was at the highest boost/rpm your duty cycle would be at its peak. And i was just looking for the peak duty cycle of some 450cc injectors at 7950rpm and 11.03psi to know if it should be more than 80%....i guess by you saying GSR is 90% i would expect more in that range.....
