Default Dumptube hits radiator, custom radiator solution?

I've got my manifold and downpipe today and when we test fitted them i had to find out that i need about 2" more room to clear the radiator.

Only solution is to mount the radiator at an angle. Has anyone done that before? Or any other custom solution?

That looks damn nice man. What's up with the flex on the dump tube? It that really necessary?

I woudl say it's not necessary but why not? Would make moutning the dumptube alot easier incase it does't fit 100%.

I would say neukin. but its not a neukin flange .

i think my vote would go towards silly SOHC.

the flex pipe in the dump is cuz when you weld SS it tends to move around a lot. the flex will allow some movement in order to truly make the closed loop a direct bolt on.

part of the reason why i absolutley HATE doin closed loop setups because more than often it doenst line up after you're done welding it .

impressive, is it hitting the radiator or the fans, if its the fans, move them to the other side of the radiator

the collector yes .. the DP everyone does it right now . if you look for silly SOHC stuff he does the same thing. as well as BMC

for me .. the toss up is the welds. they;re not the greatest but they're not neukins recent " style"

Is it me or do I not see any welds in the 2nd pic where the dump tube meets the 3 bolt flange? Unless he welded from the inside and sanded smooth. eitehr way, no penetration if he did. On a side note, I really like how the dump tube expands to 2" after the WG so the dumptube is nice and big.

Alex from Neukin made it. I didn't want to mention his name together with the problem because it is not his fault. He tried many different ways to route the DT and this was performance wise the best one.

There is no weld on the outside:

But on the inside:

Actually it is 2.25". I don't want any boost creeps with the GT35R, that's why i have choosen the 46mm WG and 2.25" DT.

It hits the radiator, the fan is already on the left side. The wastegate dischage is under the radiator support.

If someone wants to check out each weld, here are 2560x1920 pics:

I machined some upper radiator support brackets out of aluminum that brings the top of the radiator closer to the core support, you could probably just cut and weld your stock brackets to accomplish the same....if that would help you.
