Hi everyone, thanks for dropin by. I have a turbo set up but it doesn't have a dump tube of the side of the wase gate. I was wondering if i need it? does it affect hp/trq wise? what is the purpose really? please help. thanks

 

it doesnt affect hp or tq numbers but it routes the hot exhaust gases out so its not blowing right under the hood....you really dont want to have the hot exhaust gases right in your engine bay so you use a dump tube to route it under the car out of the engine bay
