Default dumb question......

ok well im rebuilding my motor and to do it as cheap as possible so i can dyno tune it im having to use itr pistons witch i think are 10.6.1 compression, and i need to find out how bad that could be. its a stock b18c1, 450cc injecters, 255 pump, itll be on 8-10lbs depending on what you guys say. im just kind of flusterd and dont kno what to expect. im sorry and i have serched a little. any info is apreciated.

thanks...

if your using the itr pistons with the gsr head your compression is going to be 10.8:1 or somewhere around there. I had this and pushed 270whp and 210tq all day running 12.7's consistantly with a 2.2 60' . I then decided to bump it up to 306whp and 215tq and it lasted about 4 months till i spun a rod bearing. My motor was also rebuilt with the itr's and gsr head before i boosted it. Did not realize i was running itr's till i tore it apart after the spun rod bearing. I would say stick between 250-280whp and you should be ok and happy (by the way this is from my personal experience and IMO so if you disagree feel free to say you do)
