Dual OEM Mufflers??
Has anybody tried to run dual stock mufflers? Any opinions on this besides mounting issues
I'm not a flow/acoustic expert but seems to me like flow would be doubled and noise would remain the same??
I want my car to be as quiet as possible and still have decent flow.
My setup:
92 civic si on itr suspension
stock d16z6
gt2860rs turbo
stock cat/muffler
super quiet but restrictive

Yep, simple math does show that dual mufflers will flow twice the stock muffler if there is big enough piping diameter. So assuming that a stock ITR muffler can flow healthily up to 180 WHP, then two of them lets the motor breathe up to 360 WHP and sound close to stock. It will just sound like two stock ITR's revving or similar...lol
