I am installing my DSM 450 injectors into my 1999 Integra GSR, B18c2 engine... I need to know if i must use a resistor box??? i was told yes by one person then no by another. I tried searching, but nothing about it for my engine... Thanks in advance
yes you do. there is a Gray electric plug on the drivers side of the eng compartment with yellow/black stripes wires (i think). it wont be plugged into anything, it will just have a cap on it. i don't remember much else about it, but i pretty much just plugged my (salvage yard) Honda resistor box into it and changed out the injector plugs for obd1's. there's more to it than that, but that's all i can remember. hope it helps.
you could also solice the black/yellow wires and solder in a 10watt 10ohm inline resistor and call it a dam. Cover it with some plastic wire loom so it looks clean. Worked for me.
check e-bay for 90's civic (obd-0) resistor box. or, if you can wait until oct i'm selling my matched (rceng) dsm 450's + my resistor box. also, have you looked at just getting saturated injectors? would be easer for just a little more $.
