dsm injector compatability

Default dsm injector compatability

i have a 90 civic si, stock d16a6 and im putting together a turbo set up. what i need to know is will 1g dsm 450cc injectors plug into the stock injector plugs or will i have to get the plugs from the dsm and wire them in?

heard they plug right in but i need someone to confirm it.

You will need the OBD0 clips for the DSM injectors. Because they are peak and hold, you'll still need a resistor box for the difference of impedence.

The 90 Si already has a resistor box, so you don't need that. As far as the injector clips go, I'm almost certain they plug right in, if anything you might have to modify them a bit to fit, but I'm pretty sure you don't even have to do that.

You can either get the dsm clips, or use the stock clips and modify the injectors. Theres just a small tab you need to "shave down" with a razor blade. Took me like 2 minutes to do all four of mine

BTW I have an obd1 d16z6
