Default DSM blowoff valve question..

i have a first gen DSM bov. i didn't have the flange for it so i welded it directly to the charge pipe *yes, i know i'm ghetto *but the weld covered that tiny pin hole to the side of the actual hole on the bottom of the bov...well i just got my car running right, and its boosting nice, but its not blowing off. could that little pin hole being blocked off be causing my car not to be blowing off?

thanks!

I would think so.... They didnt just put that random hole there for nothing... Better drill the hole out so the BOV knows when to do its job.
