Default dsm 450 injectors ?

OK i bought some injectors offa H-T member and when i got to looking at them i noticed one of the little black caps at the botom of the injector was cracked. few days later the cap had completly fallen off. how important is that piece? i am going to install them into my turbo del sol but i need to know what i can do to fix them or if i have to buy a whole new one?

The cap is just to protect the little needle (pintle?) that sticks out at the bottom when you drop the injector. (You will drop at least one at some point) It will run fine without the cap, just don't drop it and bend the needle.
