Default driving to tuner on new injectors????

Need some advice please.

Car goes in for mapping on Monday. *I'm lucky enough to live about 25 mins away from guy who is mapping it.*

Now, I am fitting Sard 1000cc injectors and they will need an inline resistor for each one.

I've got a fuel rail ready. With some plugs I've modified to fit injectors and I have the resistors.

But I want to know if I can fit them up tomorrow to car and drive with them fitted without it being mapped?

Right now I've done a few miles on standard map and injectors to run engine in a little. Staying low revs and taking it easy.

Can I adopt this strategy with the new injectors and resistors to get me there.

Thank people
