Default Drag Gen III kits?????

I see that a lot of you guys on this board are all about turbos and have the DRAG kits. I was wonderin how many daily drivers out there got one and how it's goin for you. I was checkin out the greddy kits for my 00GSR, but they don't have one yet, so i was hopin to see whats up the the DRAG kits and if i can use it everyday and keep it at low boost. I know the kit is mainly for the strip, but can i get it for the street?

the drag kit is perfect for street/strip use...just turn up the boost at the track. keep low boost daily driving.

daily driver here......

25 miles to school....25 miles back home....everyday

Basically, my car is stock with a drag III kit on it. No problems here. Running on the tial .45 bar wastegate spring (~6.5psi). Definately fun to drive. dont get the greddy kit....go with drag....lots of fun

Just make sure with the drag 3 kit you know some way to pass emissions. In the form it comes after you buy the kit, it is not emission legal.

Drag Gen 3 beats a SC for drag racing and mid-upper range *encounters*. An SC will probably take you off the line, but in the end you will pass them if there is enough disctance.

how much distance will the turbo need....a 1/4 mile's worth? also, what if i were to use NOS to eliminate lag and cuz out when turbo is spooled and ready to be boosted? BTW..I've done a lot of seaching. I go to speed shops and called Jackson Racing and even Greddy. havn't talked to DRAG yet. I also got all those magazines, turbo, sport compact car, and import turner..

If you can get traction you're usually ahead after first gear..
