Default Drag Gen 3 flaws?

What are the flaws in the drag kit? I know the wastegate needs to be replaced but other than that are there any other inherent flaws with the kit? Also can you get the kit with a tial wastegate, instead of whatever it comes with?

i dont know about its flaws becuase i dont have mine installed yet, but i did ditch the wastegate and the fuel pump for the tial and a bosch. i also got rid of the check valves and the fmu because im getting hondata also, but if your not planning on boosting very high then that wont really be necessary

the wastegate is a good idea, and get a steel braided oil return line...

Where do you get steel braided oil return lines from? When you get them is there anything else you need to buy?

you also need to get some Earls fittings to connect the oil return from the turbo to the oil pan. I used -10an hose/fittings.

What about the DP? I heard that it has no flange or it doesn't reach the cat. These are all rumors, so be kind. -C

It is long enough to reach the cat, but you would want some flexpipe anyways or you'll probably crack the manifold.

It has no flange, I used a $5 exhaust repair kit from autozone as flexpipe and had a small flange->3" of piping adapter made at an exhaust shop for $30. Has worked for me so far (almost a year turbo).

You are correct calvin. The downpipe does not have a flange to bolt up to the cat. The reason they do this is because most people dont use cats. If you need one with a flange I can get one made for you because my fabricator is in San Antonio that makes the downpipes for me.
