Drag fuel pump setup question......in the middle of a install need quick help.
I am in the middle of installing a drag III on a Type R. The kit comes with an inline pump. I was wondering if the stock fuel pump can be removed and just run the inline pump by it's self? If I can what parts do a I need to make a new pickup in the fuel tank? There are tons of other small issue's I have now but I am sure I can work them out. I got till monday to get it running.
No you cant just run the inline fuel pump, you have to have both installed, intank and inline. Good luck on the install

Ok, Just checking I could really use a new fuel pump for my car and I was thinking this Type R one would be nice before using the FMU which will make the fule pressure shoot up there.
As for the install I just got done running the oil feed line and got the turbo bolted up to the manifold and block/head. I do see one thing that bugs me is the A/C line is being pushed front from the compressor. It will only get worst when the engine moves back under load and puts more pressure on it. Also stupid me forgot to tap the manifold for the EGT!!!
I would rather just weld a peice onto the DP and tap it out for it.
Also this car has the DEFI gauge network! Really nice gauges with OEM Type harness + weather tight conectors. Really nice stuff
Well I guess it's back to work for me.
