Default drag downpipe

i just got my new turbo, my old turbo had the wastgate hole on the exhaust side welded up. do i need to do that on my new turbo, or does the drag downpipe block it off since it's manifold is ext wastgate? i can't remeber what the downpipe looked like and i don't want to rip it apart only to find that i need to get something welded and have my car in pieces in my garage for a few days.

No need to weld up or modify the turbine housing. DRAG downpipe flange will block off the hole.
