Default Drag downpipe and 3" exhaust

am I even benefitting from a 3" exhaust since I am using a Drag downpipe which I believe 2.25"? If Im not benefitting from it, Im ditching the 3" and going with a 2.25" exhaust for the sake of me wanting a quiet exhaust. Thanks guys

Although it isn't ideal, you'll still see some benefits from less restriction downstream of the downpipe. The small downpipe flared out to a 3" exhaust will still be less restrictive than the same downpipe and a 2.25" exhaust.

thanks for your response. Would I lose a substantial amount of power by going with the 2.25 exhaust? Also, would i have to get retuned?

i ran that for a long time.

the exh is still expanging on the way out. it will benefit, but not as much as a full 3" exh.
