Can I clean these airfilters with an K&N filter cleaning liquid?? It is a bottle for cleaning and a bottle with kinda red oil. Is it safe to clean the DRAG filter with this stuff?

 

The filter that came with my DRAG kit was a piece of **** imatation k&n and I don't think it used oil. It looks like a paper filter made to look like a k&n too me. I tossed and bought a real k&n.

 

the one i saw is labelled a cotton fiber filter and says washable. its an imitation of a K&N type but K&N filters are simply cotton fiber filters too so I would assume you can oil it and wash it when dirty. remember that these types of filters actually filter better once they start getting dirty and really don't need to be cleaned that often. If you can still see light through them, no need to clean them.
