I received a kit from one that was installed on EKK1 mounts, He said it all fit very well. I have faith that it was. Now that it's installed on an EKK2, any area for my downpipe to go looks almost impossible. Anybody have close up pics of how they ran their downpipe on a EK chassis with eg/dc subframe?
it's a TD autowerks sidewinder with a T3/t67 turbo. i'll add pics later this evening, I'm trying to do a hood exit setup but i can't visualize where to run the piping

I have not yet, the downpipe i have is made for an EK with EKK1 mounts, and those mounts make the motor sit forward a bit more

we had the same issue with a AFI maifold on a Kswap EK. The way the vand was angled was it would basically not allow for decent downpipe to be fabbed up with out hitting up the MC. Also you have to remember heat from the dp could cause brake fluid to boil.
I have pictures on my phone but will try to upload some later.
this the only ones i have right now.
These are of the new manifold & dp with tons of more clearance

I would say:
a) take car to shop to have dp fabbed up.
b) sell the manifold/dp & get a better one.

Is that car with EKK2 mounts? also, I can't ever tell what manifold is mounted on what mounts. most of the companies don't specify so it's kinda pissing in the dark when i look for another manifold

Even wrapping the DP, you still think it'll be a problem?

DERP* took off the turbo, slid the DP in and mounted the turbo. Looks like it'll just need one cut to rotate the downpipe a little and it'll work. No fabbing needed! yippee.. now the question is, do i want to run hood exit or full exhaust? lol

Now, lets discuss vacuum lines. Which ones are crucial so I don't over boost. The vacuum line from the turbo outlet to the wastegate? I was going to buy AN lines for important lines. and leave the bov, the regular rubber line, and boost gauge the plastic stuff that comes from autometer.
I notice some use AN T's and some uses a vacuum block with tons of line going everywhere. Which do you prefer and why? Post detailed pics if possible of how your vacuum lines are routed!
