DOWNPIPE CLEARANCE

Default DOWNPIPE CLEARANCE

Ok, I have my turbo on and everything but now the downpipe doesnt have clearance and hits the brackets and mounts along the block,

check out the pics please on the bottom of this link.

Would a drag downpipe or spooling one give me the clearance i need?

The reason your downpipe doesn't fit is most likely because its eBay junk. If you do get a new downpipe, you could just turn your turbo around so the compressor faces the driver's side to avoid the clearance issue.. but from the pics it looks like you figured that out.

im about to pick up a DRAG manifold and downpipe, should that give me the clearance i need?? Or im about to go to my local muffler shop and have them work on the downpipe.

Take off the a/c bracket or mount the turbo the other way.

Already have no A/C, What if i mount the turbo the other way, whats a good downpipe that would fit whent the exhaust side of the turbo is facing the passenger side?

You could've saved yourself a lot of trouble if you'd gotten a downpipe made specifically for that manifold(it looks like a BLOX), rather than buying a random downpipe and hoping it'll fit. You could probably get that downpipe modifed to work, but if it's one of those typical eBay "universal" ones that it looks like it is, you're probably better off having one fabricated locally. If that is indeed a BLOX manifold, plenty of people(Spoolin Performance, for instance) make downpipes for them.
