double valve spring
i have two gsr head with everything. can i use the double valve spring on the intake side of each head put them on just one head. so both side have double valve spring. will that help a lilo bit.
see if you can find the specs for them (installed height, spring rate, etc..) and compare the specs to some different aftermarket setups and see if they compare. if they do, try it out.
Unless you have the worst-profile of worn-down B16 cams for the exhaust, I wouldn't do it due to possibly floating an exhaust valve. If you have bigger cams, its very likely to cause an issue.
So to sum it up, weak cams that won't float valves won't make power after stock redline, and big cams that will make power will probably float (or even drop) a valve. You're damned either way, so do the right thing and get a full new set of springs.

What iam trying to say. A gsr head has double spring on the intake side, and i've happen to have two gsr head. iam trying to use the double spring on the intake side of the head swap with the single spring on the exhaust side cam. then both side of the cam has double valve spring. question is? will that be the same as buying a double valve spring kit.
