Does the water injection help at 6psi? is it really worth getting it for 500 bucks?

you don't need the w/i at 6lbs and when you use it, it actually slows you down a little. you lose a little power with the system. i had it when i had a 8lb pulley on my gsr motor and it helped protect from detonation, but robbed power.

i don't understand how having water injection robs power... people who usually get wtaer injection up their timing a bit..
