does this piping look right
ok first let me appoligize for the crap pics. second this is a 95 prelude with a drag 4 kit. to me the piping doesnt look right and i didnt get any instructions (i know who uses instruction) with it. the intake pipe sits inside the tb and its tight fit for the bov. so here they are.

Re: does this piping look right (boosted k20)
i have one of those but the problem is the pipe is pushed inside of the tb and is rubbing against that brake fluid splitter (if thats what its called) on the passenger side. i might just have to cut the piping

i'd definitely not drive it with the pipe inside the TB like that. if you have to, get it cut a little shorter and get a coupler that will work for it. 3" -> 2.5" or whatever the sizes are for your car.

what size is your tb? maybe thats why your piping fits inside it cause it doesnt look like the stock size

the tb is a 70 mil, but even when i pull it out as far as it goes the pipe hits that second brake fluid res and the pipe is still inside the tb lol. its funny cuz the mainfold was wrong with the kit so now my car will be sitting for 2 weeks to get the right one and they are convinced the piping is right. Murphy's law right.

well the piping is right but you do have an aftermarket throttlebody so it isn't going to line up right, i suggest that you cut off the pipe that sticks inside and then bring that peice to a local muffler shop and have them expand it so it fits right , or cop out and use an adapter

doh, it's not rocket science. the answer is in your last picture. use the 3% rule! meaning you have to be atleast 3% smarter than the tool your using.
