Do you think it is safe to run 10psi of boost on stock internals with a drag kit???
Also, since i wont have the money for a turbo kit till like sommer, should i get intake and headers to hold me over till the turbo, or dont worry bout it????
by the way its goin on a B18B

Do whatever floats your boat man, you really aren't going to notice much by just adding the headers, maybe some extra noise, but I mean I would hold out. I wouldnt' run over 10, and I would only run 10 maybe at the track and the dyno, probably 6-7 daily.

I think it depends a lot on fuel management. With something like a properly tuned hondata you should be safe. I've got a hondata 4b on my b17a and will be putting on an fmax turbo this month. I plan on running somewhere around 10 psi without engine work, although I do plan on building the engine up evantually.
BTW, where in ohio are you? I'm in Mt. Vernon, northeast of columbus.

Re: Do you think this is safe??? (Armani692)
What not to do: For my birthday my GF told me she would buy somthing for my car for around $200. I gave her a list, and told her what everything was. She ended up getting me a AEM CAI, now she found out that I won't beable to use it when I get my turbo, so it kinda hurt her feeling I think, and it kinda makes me feel bad. So bad that some days I almost decide to just go NA instead of FI just to keep the intake.
Moral of the story, try only to buy stuff that will be compatable with future mods.
