I went with Electrical because I had no desire to mount my gauges outside... or bring gauges inside and bring hot fluids into my cockpit.

I did not desire Accuracy... but mearly the indication that something was off... ie: i'm looking for massivie changes... i don't need to know my oil temp to withing 1 degree. I basically look at the gauge as a warning device.... sudden changes = UHOH.

Its kinda a toss up, Im running a mech. oil temp gauge and then elec. oil pressure and water temp. I dont like the short sweet of the electrical but the mech. oil pressure sometimes gets stuck so you have to heat the oil back up to that temp or higher to get it working agian... I do like that its a lot more exact then the electric ones. I just wish I would of gotten 2 5/8 instead of 2 1/16 size cause when your doing over 100mph and you have to really look hard to see what your EGT or boost is.. its kinda scary cause your eyes are not on the road... Ive been using a passenger to help me monitor everything as of late to be safer.... Ive had 1 oil pressure sensor die on me and it scared me cause I didnt have the dummy light hooked up and my car was still running with 0 oil pressure..... lol
