Default do i require a fuel pump with my setup?

i will have a greddy kit for my z6 put on within the next couple of weeks and i was wondering if i would need a fuel pump, i will be using dsm 450's with uberdata for fuel and management and one friend swears if i dont get a fuel pump i will end up blowing my engine running 10 lbs

so will i need an aftermarket fuel pump or no, and if i do, what would your recommendations be?

It's always nice cheap security, but from what I've heard (from reputable tuners) you should be fine using the stock pump with that set-up.
I've heard of the stock pump supporting 350whp although I wouldn't feel safe pushing it past about 250whp

i heard the rule is that 8 p.s.i. is the magic number and anything above this requires a fuel pump

There is no magic number, and nobody can tell you for sure... there are too many variables. Get the pump.

yes I have also heard the stock fuel pump is good for 300 or so WHP. It should be fine with your stock one, but as everyone says 90 dollars for a walbro 255, why not take the cheap insurance. Not to mention its there for future upgrades. Might was well do it now. Injectors are the most effective way to increase flow to the engine, but u have already covered that I see. So if u want to slip out on it still, then u will be fine as long as your fuel pump is in proper working condition.
