Do i need a FPR
Been searching but cant find the info that i am looking for
My goal is 400-500 HP Just say 500HP
Block has H beam Rods, Turbo Pistons block guard Freshly Built, Head has valve springs and retainers other then that pretty much stock.
Do i need a adjustable FPR and an-6 Feed line?
If i do go with a adj FPR i am most likely going with a AEM fuel rail as well just because I want to have a fuel pressure gauge mounted on the rail. Dont really have mych space at the filter for the gauge
thanks

Ohh yea I am sorry forgot that most important detail. I am going with 1000cc ID injectors.
are you saying no need for the feed line?
Also its a B18c1 one size overbore WIth B16 Head and skunk2 intake manifold

i use a stock fuel pressure regulator and 880's, but have an aftermarket rail so i can run a fp gauge for diagnostic purposes
Great info I am leaning twards that myself so your saying you use the stock line? what HP are you at
That's one way to do it. There's also a kit out there that replaces the banjo bolt on top of stock-style fuel filters that will allow you to run a fuel pressure gauge, and it's a good bit cheaper than a fuel rail/gauge combo.

Yea I have seen those I would need to get the right angled Banjo Bolt to clear my hood i think. Just seems easier @ the rail
also you guys using walbro 255's? I am not even sure that my stock FPR is letting enough Pressure back to be honest
Actually, I just found some good information from ID.

Not a single one of those combos lists the fuel lines as a restriction. I wouldn't worry about it. Yes, for your power goal, you should definitely get a Walbro 255. No way in hell the stock pump is going to flow enough for 600. It's also internally capped at 75 PSI, so even if you tried to use an adjustable FPR to "make" it do what you need it to, it still won't work.

Great info I appreciate all the info. Saves me some money I still need to get my turbo kit, waiting for the new street x systems from go autoworks pricing. Or ill by from synapse turbo. just sorting out small details.....I think the last thing i need right now is injectors.

no point in a 6an feedline, same size as stock basically.
if you're trying to make that much power I would hope that you would already know the stock pump wouldn't even come remotely close to support half that power... and as previously mentioned the OEM pumps bypass opens at 75psi which would kill most of the pressure and most of the pump flow

If you have the 255 high pressure pump, the stock regulator will raise the pressure up about 10 psi. However, your tuner will be able to compensate for it.
If you are planing on running high boost levels to get to your horsepower goal, you may need to lower the fuel pressure. The intank pumps don't flow to well at higher pressure's.

for your 400-500hp goal its pretty straight foward, once you start getting into the mid and upper 500hp range you really need to upgrade a bunch of stuff like more fuel pump than walbro255, probably a twin disc clutch etc...
