Default DIY Wideband

Has anyone done one of these?
http://www.diy-wb.com/info.htm

Im pretty sure my soldering skill are up to it. I'm just wondering if they actually work.

$30 in electrical parts (most of which I can probrably get for free as "samples") is WAY better than $350++ for a prebuilt controller. And this would save me like 4 years of my life trying to design my own controller.

I'd also like to hook it up to a general purpose data logger to save myself some dyno tuning bucks.

Chime in if you've done a DIY WB...TIA

yeah but those come with the o2 sensors, i seen the techedge DIY for like 350 , plus its in australia, plus you gotta buy teh o2 then.

honestly, these aint for everyone, if youre gonna tune you rcar once or twice, use a dyno wideband, if you plan on tuning local cars, buy one, yo get what you pay for, som epoeple on vw vortex have gotten the lambda boy and praise it, plus the 585 one has datalogging

wideband at a dyno costs you about $40, plus an hour of dyno time lets say 100$ , tune 2 cars for 200$ or so and you make your $$ back almost, and you have unlimited use, rent it to friends whatever,

I'm getting the Tech edge kit(I think that's the one you are refering to). Its very popular with alot of the mustang tuner groups that use the tweecer software to program. I personally know someone that just got one along with a wide band 02 from the 92-92 hondas and he claims it works great.

IMO you really cant beat the price if you get the unassembled kit and have the patients to wait for the honda 02(hard to get).
