Default DIY WB02 need help for calibration

Hi,

I finish my WB everything work great. The led light after 30 to 40 sec of warmup. My last problem is when i check the VOUT of the sensor at free air. I'm support to have 4V free air. I have 3.6V. I check the resistor in the sensor connector. Nothing. I remove the resistor in the connector and recheck it. I have a resistance now. I plug directly on the board. Now VOUT is 3.4 at free air. I'm lost. Someone can help me. How can calibrate it? and if it's not the calibration how can i know if the sensor is the problem?

Thanks

Did you get the software for calibration.. Not sure if you might have something messed up internally since mine was a pre-built kit..

What I did was let the sensor warm up for about 2 minutes then I went into the software and selected (I think) calibrate if I remember correctly.. Then it adjusted the box and calibrated itself to the sensor..

Also what version of the Techedge do you have?? And this is a Techedge unit correct?

Doesn't it have a tiny phillips POT screw inside the box to adjust it?

What brand/model do you have?

Is it a new o2 sensor? I know on my DIY wideband with a sensor with 20k on it from a civic vx it would never read right sitting in free air probably because of carbon buildup or whatver but when deacellerating when the injectors turn off it would go very close to 4 and the numbers seem about right otherwise. There is a place on the DIY wideband boards to add a calibration resistor. If you put in a car with a known good wideband you could possibly put a potentiometer in there and calibrate it with that. On mine after using for a while and comparing with a wideband on the dyno it read a little richer than it really was but then after seeing how it compared I knew what the air fuel actually was at certain voltages and it is consitant enough I can tune with it now that I know what voltages to shoot for and ignore what the original conversion chart says. I still dont trust it on high horsepower apps but I can tune out the partial throttle to run like stock just as good as with any other wideband. I just street tune the car with it and leave boost nice and rich but get the a/f pretty flat, then clean up the boost on the dyno real quick. I was going to mess with the calibration but this system works so well I dont really care, it only takes me an hour to finish up on the dyno and then I get to see what it puts down.
