Divided Manifold/Housing Setups

Divided Manifold/Housing Setups
Been toying around with some ideas for my build, and I'm interested into ATP's new offering of the divided T3 housings for the 30r and 35r.
From ATP: "...benefit from better turbo response, quicker spooling, and better ultimate HP."
From what I've read and searched, I was under the assumption that a divided setup was primarily used for aid in spool, and the HP potential wouldn't increase much.
Was looking for some input on anyone using a divided manifold and turbo setup.
TIA

I made the mistake of getting a FR Top Mount undiveded and a FR GT40 Bushing Divided turbo, and after reading up on the downsides I feel kinda like an *** for not researching properly.

I went 9.80 on a GT40 divided turbo and an undivided top mount manifold. It's not the end of the world.

I spoke with ATP a bit but still have not got a clear answer on the "ultimate HP" aspect. I also heard that the a/r's on the divided housing turbos are not comparable to an undivided a/r....is this true?
ATP only offers the housing in a .78 a/r for either turbo, yet I'm still pretty interested...I can't find that much info in the archives.
