Default difference between SC-3427E and SC-3431E

I'm looking at these 2 Precision turbo's. Both are rated for the same HP (545)
the only difference is the exducer wheel

31E - 2.229"
27E - 2.121"

what does that difference mean? I'm still a boost nooB

Thanks

What you're reading are exducer sizes. Both have different characteristics of inital turbine exhaust spool for the turbo. There is no "which one is better than the other, case". This exducer size patterns the exhaust gasses to behave a certain way, and are measured based upon the outside of the exhaust wheel.

For the stock B16, you could go with either one. The 2.229" give about a 12%-15% increase in TOP END only.
