difference between p72 ecu (Doug?)
does anyone know the difference between 37820 P72 A01 and 37820 P72 A02? will both work for Hondata? will getting a 96 integra ecu with obd2 work? i heard that the 96 integra ecu is not a full obd2, or something like that.. is that true?

96+ is OBDII where or not Honda fully complied with standards is another thing. The processor is what counts and that is the wrong one (in the 96).

The P72-A02 I believe is OBD II and is not suitable for extensive reprogramming. Blank chips cost about $200. Every time you want to do a reprogram you throw away the last chip you used.
The only changes we can make to 96-98 OBD II GSR and Civic ECU at the moment are REV limit VTEC point and NA fuelling and ignition changes. The first ECU reprogram is $400 as we remove and socket a surface mount chip. Subseqent changes are cheaper as we can plug the blank chips into the socket.
