difference between hp style and mls cometic head gasket????

Default difference between hp style and mls cometic head gasket????

difference please!!!! i hace this moment cometic mls 75.5 m 0.30 i want to put in my civic whit 8psi this work or only work hp style for turbo??

The HP gasket has a Fire ring for boosted apps instead of using copper or stainless steel orings . The HP is usually thicker starting at .043inch HP=High Pressure

Many many people swear by them others are into stock gaskets, can't go wrong either way IMO. We have had good luck with Cometic HP gaskets locally on alot of stock sleeved blocks.

just remember when you have orings not to use the hp, but if you don't have o-rings you can use it

Stepped deck or O-rings, you must use the MLS.
If you have a normal flat deck, you can use the HP but if it were me, I would still use the MLS. I have not seen a lot of good feed back on the HP's. Anyone?

616whp 28psi running fine for me!

600odd hp with copper o-rings and ge sleeves... used mls and hp on that motor, no problems at all.
