Delta waste gate... keep or change?
Ok guys, I'm almost ready for tuning. I just ordered the last parts I need so I can have the car tuned. I curently have the drag 3 turbo setup with the crapy drag manifold and delta wastegate, should I really get the Tial 35mm wastegate (or the new 38mm) or keep the delta wg? some people say the delta should work fine if I'm not already having problems, while others say the Tial is definately worth it.
will the wastegate change really make a difference, or should I be more concerned with geting an equal length manifold or something? My tuner is a long haul (about 5-6 hr ride) so I want to make sure I have what is needed that is not likely to cause problems, but at the same time I'm running out of money...
what do you guys think ?
ps: click on the link in my sig to check out details of my setup...

id say you got the the money buy it but if you staying at stock boost like around 8 its not necessary. thats what most ppl tell me but tial is good
I would run the Deltagate for a lilttle bit, but upgrade the manifold because that is the source for a bunch of the boost creep that is often associated with the Drag kit.
Thanks guys, I think I going to just buy the Tial wastegate 38mm. it's a tuff call but I can sring for the wg, I don't think I can afford a mani now. hopefully it helps and my tuner can make things work with my drag mani.

For what it's worth, my deltagate used to spike when I first put it in new. But
after I've been running on it, it now works really well. I think maybe that there
is some break-in period for it... maybe the gate is sticky initially or the spring needs to be worked in. Regardless, mine holds steady. (I run a 3lb spring, and
use a Blitz SBC-iD controller)
