for all yall running del sols with custom turbo kits, where did u get your downpipe? was it a custom job? and if so how much was it? or did u get it off the shelf, and if so where? thanx

 

The downpipe you need will depend on the manifold you are using.

 

ohh ya i know, what i was asking was if anyone makes a downpipe for the sol, or if anyone(worthy) makes a turbo kit for the sol. and also how much it costs to get a custom piece. sorry if i was unclear

 

it shouldnt be hard to make one yourself...but if you need to buy one, i would suggest calling local shops and asking what they would charge to do the job. it shouldnt be too expensive.

 

what motor does your del sol have.

sohc or dohc, it makes a difference.

just get a manifold made which which motor you have then worry about the downpipe.

I finished my custom del sol turbo kit about a month ago. I made a really nice custom downpipe. I bought a dp flange from bmcrace.com and a 180 j bend in 2.5" mandel bend from summit racing. I have done 3 this way. mine come out awsome. Make sure you get the j bend, not the u bend. The j has a tighter radius. If you have any questions on how to do this. Let me know
