Hey guys,

now i know your all going to ask what cel it is, well as soon as i find my paperclip ill get the code but heres the jist of things

daily driving it drives just great, this light will not come on till the motor is nice and hot. I found that it likes to come on mostly around 3000rpm on the decel. This is tuned on chrome and its always been there...

I can shut the car off and turn it back on again and the damn light is gone!

has anyone else had this problem and what did u guys do to fix it?

heres a list of the things im currently in process of doing:
1. getting the CEL
2. tightening the fitv (due to wandering idle)
3. checking tps (just cant remember what WOT and closed throttle volts are supposed to be)
4. replacing o2 (and cat to pass emissions)
5. checking a/f ratio on wideband (that might take a while to get to)


as soon as i get the CEL ill post what it is, but i have a feeling its going to be something dumb, cause apparently its always been there, since the car got tuned.

I bet you have the mysterious code 1. It will come on randomly, then disapear. The car will still drive the same and act normal. I think it is the primary O2 sensor, which I bet was disabled when you got tuned.

its code 36 and code 20 that pops up...

should i just get it re-tuned?

 

36 is traction control
20 is ELD.

get it retuned with a different rom base.

 

my uberdata did this, and it was the o2 sensor, even though it was off

 

i just replaced the o2 sensor...

nothing helped

TC is found in 203 rom. The error comes up in moest edm/jdm ecus.
Als for code 1(o2) on decel. Has todo with decel/fuelcut setttings.

 

wierd how im getting those codes... sounds like i have to get retuned on a diff chip because i dont have access to that file as i bought the car a year after its been tuned

no quick fixes are there?
