DBS for AFC hack users
I'm getting pretty sick of the part throttle jerking caused by the SMC+ and 450's. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about the DBS that's supposed to fix this. http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~ecg/dbs.htm How does it work? Is it out yet? Will it work with the SMC? How much is it? Thanks.

I have emailed zip to find out what this will do for us hackers hopefully it will be available for us soon. I hope it will also help out the SMC users!!!

The jerking is caused by the AFC/SMC, not the injectors.

This is for part throttle jerking. If you have jerkyness below 3 thousand rpms, regardless of throttle position, than you're probably too rich.

We are finishing the final R&D on the system and the DBS will be released in a couple of weeks. There are some members on this board currently road testing the beta units.

Re:
I would love to go Hondata, but unfortunately thats not an option right now. For OBD2 cars like mine, the costs of a s200 w/ boost, p28, harness, and lots more tuning adds up to quite a bit.
