This subject has been discussed too many times over the last 7 years or so.

You can't go wrong with either sleeves, not at all! If you go Darton just make sure you have a qualified machine shop to install them, PREFERABBLY someone who has alot of experience with them. ERL sleeves them and they are great, GE does great work as well.

There is no horsepower difference between the sleeving companies they will take what you throw at them. GE hasn't had too many probs in a loong time with sinking as far as I know. Again you can't go wrong either way

Oh but watch out for those threads out there that state "Hey this why is why XXX sleeves is BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE" blah blah blah those are great Marketing Threads

I actually have a Goldene Eagle block at the machine shop now getting bored and honed for some custom Wiseco Pistons. The times in my sig are actually on a Stock sleeved LS block with pistons and rods and a stock B16A head with springs and retainers only

Once I get my BIG BLOCK I shluld run better times, we shall see. These Golden Eagle Sleeves have been great for me since I had run it in the past and had it bored bigger now

I had a GE B16A block back in the day then a Darton sleeved B16A block that never once gave me any issues, I sold it though I wish I still had it. Also had a GE B16A that I sold too.

I got an extremely good deal on a GE B18C block so I picked it up. Again GE, Darton, ERL, AEBS etc etc you can't go wrong.

I actually just had 2 blocks sleeved with AEBS sleeves for customers recently, I have one more block to get done also. These were done by Jeremy Allen at Inline Pro. All these companies are great.

Probably because the Original Poster asked about GE and Darton only so... Too often threads get waaay off base from the OP's actual question or products asked about.

As mentioned before all the sleeving companies do a great job, they all work BUT don't get roped into the hype of "This is the reason why XXX blocks are the best and how they are made" blah blah

Pretty much all the sleeving companies are good out there, I wouldn't trust SS Autocrome if they started sleeving though
