this is kinda sad....... NITTO is not making the nt555r drag radial anymore .. that was such a good tire and now they arent making it. and also bfg doesnt make the gforce in a 16 so all 16 inch users are screwed. thats why i had to get 15s now oh well its lighter and should be bettter

 

so what did you end up with? i'm in the market again...are the bfg's available or still on backorder? i was just going to get the nitto but i'm unsure now.

 

they are probably discontinuing the nitto 555R so they can come out with a tire that will out do the bfg. that would be nice, but well see.

damn... i just re mounted my pair of 555Rs... maybe i should see if i can get a few more, those are pretty good drag radials IMO

 

I know they discontinued the 225/50/16 but I think the 204/45/16 is still available.

 

what about azenis, they come in 16 dont they?

 

you can still get azeni's...but i doubt they grip as good as drag radials for launching.
